Brooke Butler, Actor and Singer

About Brooke Butler

Having already been deemed one of Maxim’s “The Hot 10 Actresses” superstar Brooke Butler lit up the big screen this year with the release of her film A DAY TO DIE starring alongside Bruce Willis, Frank Grillo and Kevin Dillon.

Born in Woodinville, Washington right outside of Seattle, Brooke from a young age found her love for performing, acting, and singing after her parents took her to a performance of “Phantom of the Opera.” Growing up fully immersed in the world of sports as both her Brother and Father played baseball, she eventually found herself deciding between going pro in soccer or continuing her artistic passions. After booking a role in a stage production of Les Misérables at 12, and performing at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe held in Scotland at the age of 16, it became clear. She went on to get her Bachelor's Degree in Dramatic Arts from The University of Southern California. While there, Brooke was an avid film student, presidential scholar, and was ranked top 20 cheerleaders in the nation as a USC cheerleader.

At the age of 19. Brooke had a health scare and had to have breast tumors removed from her body. Growing up with a Father who ran the AIDS foundation in Seattle, she knows her journey will lead to this type of work with charities as her platform grows.

Brooke would eventually begin booking regular gigs while building her career in Los Angeles and has starred in television series and feature films including Young Darlene Snell in Netflix’s “Ozark,” FOX’s “The Resident,” TNT’s “Animal Kingdom,”, AMC’s “Creepshow”, NBC’s “Magnum PI”, singing Italian Opera in Sian Heder’s SHOWTIME pilot “Queen Fur”, and headlining TIFF midnight madness for ALL CHEERLEADERS DIE, to name a few. Brooke recently took the stage as Heather Hayes in “Famous, based on the tumultuous childhood of River Phoenix.  The play did a sold out run after receiving a Broadway Ovation award, and was then shot as a feature film which premiered in LA.

When Brooke isn’t busy in front of the camera, or on stage, she can be found playing piano, guitar, and recording music. Brooke likes to hike, practice yoga, play sports, snow ski, wakeboard, and bungee jump. She is a fanatic for classic movies, foreign films, and the golden age of hollywood; knowing one day her career will also take her behind the camera as a director.
